Mother, partner, friend, and founder of Centered Motherhood — a quiet space for women learning to hold the many threads of a full life without unraveling.

Hello everyone — my name is Kate and I'm a 41-year-old mother of two (4 and 7). I'm also married to a great guy and I work full time. To say life is crazy would be an understatement. When I first became a mom, I felt so overwhelmed: how do I be a great mom, how do I balance the insanity of life while also still taking care of myself, my marriage, and work full time.
I would be lying if I said I had it all figured out, but I have learned a lot along the way over the past 7 years. Now life, while still chaotic, feels manageable — and I'm able to have a lot more joy and peace along the way.
It's not about doing more. It's about returning, again and again, to what actually matters across five quiet pillars: your professional self, your marriage, your mothering, your friendships, and your own care.
Balance implies a perfect equilibrium that doesn't exist. Center is a practice.
Tiny daily acts compound into a life that feels like yours again.
No performance, no shoulds. Just the real version of the work.
